Stories of Hope: A Celebration of Canada
June 29, 2020 - 11:00 am (EDT) – Online Conference
In this time of social strife and pandemic, Canadians need to unite more than ever to overcome our challenges and differences. Stories of Hope: A Celebration of Canada, will bring together online over two dozen voices with inspiring stories on June 29 from 11:00am - 4:00pm (EDT).
Speakers from Indigenous, LGBTQ+, Francophone and multicultural communities will share how they prevailed over their personal challenges and how all can learn from their experiences. Free-flowing conversations will cover a range of themes, including history, immigration, diversity and youth. Songs, special greetings, videos, and spoken word poetry will further uplift and engage the audience.
A preliminary program is available here.
